Mandate The Municipal Assessment Agency is mandated, in accordance with the Assessment Act, to provide an independent and efficient property assessment service to taxing authorities. In support of this service, the Agency may provide assessment, valuation, and related services including consultation, education, and inspection to any level of government, Crown agent, or private sector interest.
